The Color Obstacle Rush is not a charity event, but runners are welcome to use their participations to raise money for their chosen charity.
If you find it helpful, you can use our ready-made sponsor form sheet (you can download it below).
Good luck with your project! :)
Even if we are a for-profit organisation, we do have a will to contribute to charities we find important. In September 10th 2016 we arranged a charity event in Birmingham: Capital’s charity Global’s Make Some Noise received £4 per ticket sold to take part in the Color Obstacle Rush. Global’s Make Some Noise supports small but brilliant charities across the UK, which help youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. These charities struggle to get heard, so they give them a voice and raise much needed funds to support their vital work.
In 2016 we also provided our help to sick children in Sussex by donating to Rockinghorse, which is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital. The donation will be used to fund therapeutic activities for Chalkhill Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit in Haywards Heath. Chalkhill is the only in-patient hospital for children and young people in Sussex with complex mental health issues. The activities will include for example art therapy, yoga, music therapy and day trips out which give children the chance to socialise and spend time away from medical procedures. These kind of activities are not funded by the local council or NHS so to be able to provide these activities for the young people is invaluable to their recovery and wellbeing.
